With the Columbia Private Trust mobile app, you can quickly access and track your Columbia Private Trust accounts. With its simple navigation, you can conveniently monitor and stay connected to your investment accounts. View balances and transactions, and manage your contact information, all from your mobile device.

  • Graphical views showing the value of your investments over time
  • Landscape views for more detailed views of your accounts

Columbia Private Trust Mobile App FAQ

Who can download and use the mobile app?

Any user who has established online access can download and use the mobile app. This includes users who are affiliated with accounts.

Which credentials will I use to login to the mobile app?

To log in to the mobile app, you will use your online login credentials established with your website login. Multi-Factor Authentication, or MFA, will also carry over to the mobile app if you have set it up online.

What if I do not have online credentials? 

To register for online credentials, please visit the online portal at columbiaprivatetrust.com. You cannot register via the mobile app.

Can I reset my password using the mobile app?

Passwords can be reset by selecting “Forgot Password” on the login page and proceeding through the prompts.

What if I have difficulty logging into the mobile app?

If you have trouble logging in to the mobile app, please contact our Client Services team at (800) 962-4238.

What am I able to view on the mobile app?

You can view your account balances, investments, past transactions, past statements or tax documents, and more—directly through the mobile app. If you have any questions, you can also use the mobile app to contact Columbia Private Trust.

Are there any restrictions on what I can do on the mobile app?

While you can make some changes on the mobile app, such as updating contact information and changing statement delivery preferences, many transactional options are restricted. The following requests CANNOT be initiated through the mobile app:

  • Updating Beneficiaries
  • Fee Payment1
  • Form Submission
  • Distributions
  • Contributions
  • Transfers In
  • Fund Movements (such as sending/receiving wires and/or ACH’s)
  • Market Trades
  • Alternative Asset Investments (Buys or Sales)
  • Capital Calls
  • Valuation Updates
  • Account Closures
  • 3rd Party Additions (including POAs)
  • Name Changes
